WHAT WE OFFER

Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is a non-profit organization with a mission to connect seniors with caring volunteers. Through these connections, seniors in our community are better able to access critical services and maintain their independence.

From transportation to light housekeeping, yard clean-up and more, we’re here to help! Take a look at just some of the many services we can provide to our community members

TRANSPORTATION

We’ll help you get where you need for healthcare, nutrition and wellness. You will travel in a volunteer’s personal vehicle or one of Interfaith’s accessible vans. Service is provided locally and outside of the county to all major metro area healthcare facilities.

YARD HELP

Keeping up with the demands of growing weeds and unruly lawns can be tough.  Our volunteers are happy to get their hands dirty, keeping your yard and garden both clean and green all year round.

SNOW SHOVELING

Need a path cleared? Wisconsin winters are beautifully white, but that snow can get heavy. Let us know and we’ll find someone to help keep your walkway safe during the winter months – no matter how cold!

GROCERY SHOPPING

Need some help shopping for groceries or a trip to your local food pantry? Interfaith volunteers can do the grocery shopping for you, or provide a ride and assist you with an extra pair of hands to help fill your cart and unload back at home.

IN-HOME VISITS

We have caring volunteers who just love to visit! Want a phone call or a friendly visit? Maybe a partner for cards or a board game? Our friendly volunteers are more than happy to give you a ring or stop in for a visit.

About Our Services

We understand it can sometimes be hard to ask for help. Yet, more challenges emerge as we age, or are recovering from surgery or an accident. If you’re finding you need some assistance, Interfaith can provide a variety of services free of charge.

Because we value the dignity and independence of all members in our community, regardless of age, we’ve made it easy for you to find the help you need for everything from vacuuming the floors and shoveling a snowy walkway to shopping and transportation.

Our volunteers are eager to give back, and provide caring help at no cost to you, with no questions asked. Aside from helping with your basic needs, many of our participants find themselves with a new and unexpected friendship.

If you or a loved one is a Washington County resident over the age of 60 and would like to sign up for our services, download our application (or click here, if no application) to get started.
