WHAT IS AmeriCorps Seniors?
AmeriCorps Seniors is a network of national service programs for Americans 55 years and older, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers commit their time to address critical community needs including academic tutoring and mentoring, elderly care, disaster relief support, and more.
What is RSVP?
RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. You can use the skills and talents you’ve learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within your community. RSVP volunteers choose how and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week.



RSVP Interfaith Opportunities:
• Driving (own vehicle or one of ours)
• Light yard work
• Grocery shopping for or with the senior
• Visits with the lonely
